Aggressive skating or stunt skating is the most extreme form of skating. This style can be practised in the skate park as well as on the street or in the city. Aggressive skates are specially constructed. STUNT & AGGRESSIVE SKATING
Aggressive skating uses wheels with a diameter of 55 - 80mm.
In addition, special grind wheels are often used. These are not made of PU (polyurethane) like normal inline skate wheels, but of a harder plastic material and are much smaller.
They are used in an anti-rocker setup. Unlike the rocker or banana set-up, the middle rollers of the frame are smaller (grind rollers) and do not touch the ground when skating.
The outer rollers (first and last roller of the frame) are made of PU and are correspondingly larger.
With this setup, even obstacles with a larger diameter can be grinded without wheelbite.

This makes the skates faster because not only two, but four wheels per rail touch the ground.
The freestyle frames are designed for grinding. This is made possible by the large grove in the middle of the rail and the use of only two rollers per rail.
If the rail or the curb does not slide enough when grinding, wax can be used to help.
In general, protective clothing should always be worn when skating, but especially when skating aggressively, protectors make a lot of sense to avoid painful injuries.
Every skater can decide for themselves how much protective equipment to wear.
