You buy the starting place from us in the online store and then receive a voucher code ("free start code") by email. You will need this code to register with SCC Events. You will also receive the access data for the exclusive offers and articles for team members on der-rollenshop.live.
Registration for the marathon
You can register for the marathon on the SCC Events homepage. There you will also find all information about registration, the organization and the race itself. Important: When registering, please enter der-rollenshop WR Team as your team name.
Team shirt
You will receive the official WR team shirt before the marathon (delivery address will be the same like your adress you entered for the order of the starting place).
Before the race
We would like to take a photo with all world record team members in front of the Brandenburg Gate. You will receive information about this (location & time) prior to the race weekend.
The Race
Each member of the der-rollenshop WR team will skate the Marathon at their own pace and will start from their own starting block.
What we hope for: We start the race together within the individual starting blocks! The uniform shirts make the members easily recognizable and maybe one or the other will find a partner for the race.

Join the Team World Record at the Berlin Marathon Inline Skating 2024!
First the facts:
The Berlin Marathon is the biggest inline skating marathon in the world!
The 42.195km course criss-crosses the German capital, passing almost all the major and famous sights. The start and finish are always in the immediate vicinity of the Brandenburg Gate.
Together with the pros, over 4500 skaters took to the course in 2023. At no other race or event are there more inline skaters on the road at the same time.
No one has ever been faster than Bart Swings (World Team Powerslide) from Belgium, who skated the course in 2022 in the incredible best time - and therefore the course record in Berlin - of 56 minutes and 49 seconds!
But don't worry! Our team world record is not about beating the best time, but about having fun and setting a record along the way.

To make the record visible to everyone, we start in the same marathon shirt. In order to make the record traceable, the uniform team name der-rollenshop WR Team must appear in the results lists. You must therefore enter this when registering for the marathon.

Fitness, Freizeit, Speedskating?
Das Team Weltrekord besteht aus Skatern aller Leistungsklassen und mit unterschiedlichen Zielzeiten. Jeder darf und soll sein eigenes Tempo fahren. Was uns verbindet, ist das Teamshirt, der Teamname und die Lust am Skating.Jedes Teammitglied startet also in dem zu seiner Zielzeit passenden Startblock. Wir hoffen, dass in jedem Startblock eine gute sichtbare Gruppe an Team WR Skatern zu finden ist.
Die Einteilung richtet sich nach der bei der Registrierung angegebenen Bestzeit. Wenn du deinen ersten Marathon skatest, startest du aus dem letzten Startblock (Block F). Alle Skater haben ein faires Rennen verdient, also sei bitte ehrlich bei deinen Angaben und reihe dich am Renntag in deinen vorgesehenen Startblock ein. Die Startblöcke sind auf der Startnummer sowie bei der Startaufstellung mit Buchstaben gekennzeichnet.
