VENERATE Shoes: Heat Molding
The heat molding process for VENERATE cycling shoes is quick, simple, and highly effective. In just a few steps, you can mold the shoes to perfectly fit your feet.
Required Materials:
- VENERATE cycling shoes
- Cycling socks
- Oven
- Damp towel
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 80°C(175 °Fahrenheit).
- Mark the cleat position and then remove the cleats. The insoles can stay inside the shoes.
- Once the temperature is reached, place the shoes in the oven for 12 minutes.
- If you have pressure points, place a tissue or small object on the affected area and fix it with tape to artificially expand that spot.
- Put on your cycling socks and place the shoes flat in front of you.
- Carefully slip into the shoes and fasten them comfortably using the ATOP system.
- Stand with slightly bent knees, ensuring your knees and toes are aligned in a vertical line. Hold this position for a few minutes.
- You can use a damp towel to accelerate the cooling process.
- Remove the shoes, allow them to cool for a few more minutes, and reattach the cleats.
- Now you're ready for your next ride!
