Test report Powerslide One 3x125

Powerslide offers with the Powerslide One 3x125 a Speedskate at a very attractive price. If the skate could convince in our skate test you can read in the following report.   

The colour of the One 3x125 is predominantly a glossy black. Only the logos are white. The skate comes in the typical Speedskate low shoe design. At the heel you can see the carbon shell of which the shell of the shoe is made. Powerslide uses nano leather for the upper material.  Thanks to the MYFit concept, the entire shoe can be heat molded to fit the wearer's foot. A classic waxed lacing in combination with a ratchet buckle over the instep provides the necessary hold. In the test this system proved to be very reliable and there was a lot of positive feedback regarding the hold and quality of the closure system. 
But does the skate not only look good,can it also be driven fast? We say yes! The skate comes with a 3x125mm wheelsetup in a 12.8 inch long frame. The mounting distance of the rail is 195mm. The rail is mounted using a classic two-point mounting system. This allows the rail to be adjusted to the side to compensate for any X or O leg positions.  Powerslide uses WCD Wicked ABEC 7 ball bearings for the skate. From the point of view of our testers, even more could have been done with the skate. With an upgrade of the bearings to  SKF-Race ABEC 5 bearings for example, the skate would certainly have been even faster in comparison. On the other hand, our test team was positively surprised by the Powerslide Infinity wheels. These always offered sufficient grip during the driving tests and also good power transmission to the road. This provided a high rating of the skate in terms of rolling behavior, grip and imprint. The One 3x125 does not have a brake. But there is the possibility to retrofit a universal brake. 
After several kilometers of driving and even more talking shop we agree. The Powerslide One 3x125 is a super speed skate for its price. Is it the first choice for a full professional? Probably not but everyone who wants to start with the sport or already has some experience is just right here. Thanks to the possibility of upgrading the skate, with new bearings or maybe even a new frame and wheel setup, the skate can be ridden for a long time and is always adaptable to the needs of the user.
