Testbereicht Powerslide One Zoom 80

Powerslide launches the One Zoom 80, an inexpensive four-roller Urbanskate on the market. What this skate can do and whether it also convinces qualitatively, we clarify in the following test report.
The skate comes as a hard shell boat with MYFIT inner shoe in a black and white look to match its field of application. The lacing is done classically with laces. A ratchet buckle was mounted above the instep area and on the cuff for a stable hold on the foot.  During the test drive the tension buckle proved to be a little bit hacked in the operation. In terms of strength and hold, however, both buckles do a good job. Our test drivers liked the heat moldable inner shoe. It is very comfortable to roll with.  It was noticeable that the shoe offers a lot of space in the toe area. To prevent damage to the boot, a bumper was mounted outside the boot, which can also be changed if necessary. From our point of view a useful addition.

Powerslide uses a classic 4x80mm version when choosing the rail, which is attached to the boat with the Trinitiy system. The rail is fixed to the  skate in the front area with two screws and to the boot in the rear area with one screw.  This has the advantage that the power transmission during skating is increased once again and that the distance between boot and wheels is smaller than with conventional two-point mouting systems. These features ensure a lower standing height and thus more safety and stability when riding.  The driving characteristics of the 80mm rollers in combination with the WCD Wicked ABEC 7 bearings were rated good in our test. It should be noted that the skate has been designed for manoeuvrable riding. You won't win a marathon on the 80mm wheels, but you can easily circle it around every curve or pylon. 
The special thing about the One Zoom 80 is that the track can be detached and an Aggressive Souleplate with UFS-System (Powerslide USD Sway Soulplates) can be mounted. This is a feature that we believe enhances the shoe even further, as it allows you to cover two areas of use with one shoe (Souleplate and UFS rails must be purchased separately, not included).  

The test has shown that an inexpensive Urbanskate is also fun. Qualitatively we had only a small complaint. We didn't like the somewhat hakelige buckle over the instep so much.  The agile skate is fun in any case, thanks to the possibility to convert the skate from freestyle to aggressive, it is very suitable for beginners as well as advanced riders.
